How to Get Started

There are a number of questions about Kaizendo that are frequently asked by people thinking of joining:

Am I too old to start?

This question is usually asked by people age 30 or 40 and above. The answer is NO, you are not too old! If you have a medical condition it is always best to check with your doctor first. You will not feel out of place because the classes are adult specific.

Take the exercise at your own pace and our beginners’ classes will ease you into training.

 

Am I too young to join?

This question is usually asked by teenagers and above. The answer is NO, you are not too young, generally we take young people age 15 and above into our classes. These classes are suitable for young adults too and will challenge any fitness enthusiast.

 

I am totally unfit; will I be able for Kaizendo?

This doesn’t matter because you don’t have to be fit to start. Our specific beginners’ classes are geared towards unfit individuals.

How do I join?

To arrange a free trial class, you need to contact us first. Visit our Class Venues section to find a club in your area in order to get the contact details of the relevant instructor(s).

What do I wear?

On your first introductory lesson you need to be wearing loose clothing so that you are able to move around freely. Suitable clothing would consist of loose trousers (not jeans) or jogging bottoms, and a T-shirt. The most important thing is to remember to wear clothes that are comfortable and suitable for physical activity. Wear trainers or soft shoes.

What shall I bring with me?

Bring a bottle of water and if you wish, bring a friend. However, don’t forget to make an appointment beforehand.
